Tamil Nadu: TVK crosses majority mark as VCK, IUML extend support

Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) crossed the majority mark in the Tamil Nadu Assembly after VCK and IUML extended support to Vijay-led party’s bid to form the government. VCK chief Thol Thirumavalavan formally handed over a support letter, taking TVK’s tally to 119, before IUML support pushed it to 120 MLAs.
