Along with Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan too expressed his admiration for Team India’s brilliant show on the field. Posting on his X handle, the superstar wrote, “What a comprehensive victory!! India’s victory came after a great match against New Zealand in the T20 World Cup final at the full Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. In front of more than 1,20,000 people, the Indian team batted amazingly, scoring 255/5 in 20 overs, the highest score ever in a T20 World Cup final. Sanju Samson, Abhishek Sharma, and Ishan Kishan played important innings that helped India set a tough target for New Zealand.

On the work front, Amitabh Bachchan is gearing up for the release of his courtroom thriller ‘Section 84’, directed by Ribhu Dasgupta. The film also features Abhishek Banerjee and Nimrat Kaur in key roles. Apart from this, Amitabh will once again portray Ashvatthama in Nag Ashwin’s upcoming film ‘Kalki 2’. Set in the year 2898 AD, the movie combines elements of science fiction and ancient mythology, with shooting likely to begin in December.
