The actor was born on April 25, 1940, in New York City under the name Alfredo James Pacino. The actor started his career in 1967 by working in underground and off-Broadway theatre plays. While he was born in New York’s Manhattan area, he and his mother shifted to the South Bronx area after his parents filed for divorce.From an early age, he became interested in films after his mother would often take him to the movie theatre.
