Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur starrer revenge action drama ‘Dacoit’ is set to hit theaters soon this month. Ahead of the film’s release on April 10, the lead actor announced that he has the final trailer cut and when it will be available for fans to glimpse their world.

Adivi Sesh took to his Instagram handle to reveal that the trailer will be released on Saturday, April 4, 2026. He wrote, “#Dacoit trailer 4th April..I have it in my hands right now.”

Actor calls ‘Dacoit’ a genre shift

Recently, Adivi Sesh held an interaction session on X (formerly Twitter) where he discussed the film with fans. One user asked Adivi Sesh, “When you’re shifting your genre from thrillers?” to which the ‘HIT:2’ actor wrote, “#Dacoit is that shift.” Another fan asked the actor how difficult it was to shoot the film in multiple languages, to which Adivi Sesh mentioned it was “Extremely tough and extremely satisfying.”

About ‘Dacoit’

‘Dacoit’ marks Shaneil Deo‘s directorial debut. Shaneil Deo and Adivi Sesh co-wrote the film. Speaking about the film, it revolves around Adivi Sesh’s character, a convict who escapes from prison to take revenge on his ex-partner Juliet, played by Mrunal Thakur.Recently, the makers revealed another single from the film, ‘Touch Buddy,’ a fun and lively song also released in Telugu as ‘Chichubuddi’. It is sung by Bhojpuri icon Pawan Singh and Jonita Gandhi. The film also stars filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, who plays a cop and features Prakash Raj in key roles. Earlier, the film was set to release on March 19, but was pushed ahead to release on April 10. The film was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will be available in different languages.
