Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone continue to be among the most adored couples in the film industry. Since welcoming their daughter Dua, the pair have largely stayed away from public appearances. Despite delivering a blockbuster like ‘Dhurandhar’ last year, Ranveer has rarely been seen attending media events in Mumbai. Now ahead of the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’ on March 19, Ranveer and DP made a rare appearance. They attended the wedding of celebrity stylist Eka Lakhani and her longtime partner, producer Ravi Bhagchandka, on March 14. While they were not seen posing at the red carpet, thus were not clicked by the paparazzi, a photo from the celebration soon made its way onto social media, much to the excitement of their fans. The picture was shared by a guest on Instagram stories and offered a candid look at the couple enjoying the festivities. In the image, Ranveer looks dapper in a white chikankari kurta paired with dark sunglasses and a bearded look. Deepika complemented him in a printed pink outfit, accessorised with traditional kundan jewellery.

Several well-known personalities from the film and sports worlds also attended the wedding. Among those present were Aditi Rao Hydari and her husband Siddharth, along with the children of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar, who attended with his wife Saaniya Chandhok, and Sara Tendulkar. Filmmaker Karan Johar was also spotted at the celebration. At the reception in the night, one saw many celebrities like Neha Dhupia with Angad Bedi, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Bhumi Pednekar, Ranveer’s family, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta among others. Meanwhile, Ranveer is now gearing for the release of ‘Dhurandhar 2’. The advance bookings of the film have already begun and trade experts predict a huge number for day 1.
