'तुम्हें प्रॉपर्टी बेचनी पड़ेगी', फिल्म फ्लॉप होते ही सुपरस्टार ने कही ये बात, सुन फटी रह गईं प्रोड्यूसर की आंखें

शाहरुख खान ने हिट और फ्लॉप दोनों ही फिल्मों से फैंस का दिल जीता है. वह अपनी एक्टिंग ही नहीं, अपनी दरियादिली के लिए भी पहचाने जाते हैं. ऐसी ही कुछ दरियादिली उन्होंने साल 2002 में आई अपनी एक फ्लॉप फिल्म के वक्त दिखाई थी.

नई दिल्ली. शाहरुख खान उन सुपरस्टार में से हैं, जिनके नाम से ही फिल्में हिट हो जाती हैं. लेकिन साल 2002 में उन्होंने एक फिल्म में सनकी पति का ऐसा रोल निभाया था कि लोग देखकर हैरान हो गए थे. लेकिन ये फिल्म बॉक्स ऑफिस पर कुछ खास कमाल नहीं दिखा सकी. इसलिए शाहरुख ने अपनी फीस से 95 लाख रुपए छोड़ दिए थे.

The film in question is Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam. It was released in 2002. Producer KC Bokadia recently recalled an off-screen episode involving Shah Rukh Khan that has caught attention on the social media.

90 के दशक में बनी फिल्म ‘हम तुम्हारे हैं सनम’ में तीन बड़े मेगास्टार शाहरुख खान,माधुरी दीक्षित और सलमान खान नजर आए थे. फिल्म के बनने की शुरुआत साल 1997 में हुई थी. लेकिन ये फिल्म 6 साल बाद 2002 में रिलीज हुई थी.

Speaking on the Live Hindustan Podacast, Bokadia said that the actor chose not to take Rs 95 lakh that was still due to him after the film had an average run at the box office.

हाल ही में फिल्म के प्रोड्यूसर केसी बोकाड़िया ने फिल्म को लेकर एक पुराना किस्सा शेयर किया, जिसमें उन्होंने बताया कि फिल्म फ्लॉप होने के बाद शाहरुख ने फीस में से अपने 95 लाख रुपये नहीं लिए थे.

Bokadia said Shah Rukh Khan agreed to be part of the project despite reservations about the story, and later waived the pending amount when the producer raised the issue of payment.

साल 2002 में आई इस फिल्म की रिलीज को लेकर फैंस काफी एक्साइटेड थे. फिल्म में तीन बड़े स्टार जो नजर आने वाले थे. लाइव हिंदुस्तान को दिए इंटरव्यू में केसी बोकाड़िया ने बताया था कि फिल्म के लिए शाहरुख को कास्ट करना आसान नहीं था.

Recalling his first meeting with Shah Rukh Khan, Bokadia said he approached the actor with a direct offer while planning the remake of a Tamil film. He said he needed about 20 days of the actor’s dates and offered him Rs 2 crore for the project, even though Shah Rukh’s ususal fee at the time was between Rs 1 crore and Rs 1.5 crore.

The producer added that Shah Rukh Khan agreed to consider the film and came the very next day to watch the original version. He also recounted a lighter moment from that meeting, stating, “The director had a weird personality, so I told him not to enter the screening because SRK might run away after looking at you.”

Both the original Tamil film and the Hindi remake were directed by KS Adhiyaman, but Bokadia said Shah Rukh did not insist on meeting him before agreeing to the film.

Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam reportedly spent almost six years in production before finally releasing. It was a remake of the 1995 Tamil film Thotta Chinungi. Although it reunited Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan on screen, the film did not achieve strong box office success.

बता दें कि शाहरुख खान ने फिल्म में सनकी पति का किरदार निभाया था. फिल्म में माधुरी ने शाहरुख की पत्नी का रोल निभाया था. सलमान फिल्म में माधुरी के दोस्त के तौर पर नजर आए थे. तीनों स्टार मिलकर भी फिल्म को बचा नहीं पाए थे.
