Suriya and Trisha Krishnan are basking in the success of their latest release, the fantasy action thriller ‘Karuppu’ directed by RJ Balaj. The film is not only receiving praise within the Tamil audience, but it’s also making waves in its Telugu release by the name Veerabhadrudu. Recently, Tollywood star Vijay Deverakonda went to congratulate the team, stating he is hearing good things about the film.

‘Karuppu’ released after delay

‘Karuppu’ was earlier announced to release on May 14, however it got delayed due to financial issues. The film later hit the big screens on May 15 with fangare. In addition to it, on its release the film’s team, including Trisha Krishnan, RJ Balaji, and music director Sai Abhyankkar, watched its first day, first show with the fans. They were joined by actor Karthi, who is the younger brother of Suriya.

About ‘Karuppu’

The film revolves around underprivileged people fighting for their rights with faith in the legal system. However, when suffering comes from the system itself, Lord Karuppu Swamy takes human form to help them to fight injustice.Apart from Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, the movie also stars RJ Balaji, Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi, and Supreeth Reddy in key roles.Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is working on his upcoming film ‘Rowdy Janardhana’ and also has ‘Ranabaali’ opposite Rashmika Mandanna and a film with ‘Hi Nanna’ director Shouryuv in his pipeline.
